This Public Safety Building was a very involved project on a tight site and involved a little bit of every aspect of concrete work.

There were 14’ tall walls in the building which tied into a steel structure and helped to support a structural slab along with exposed concrete columns. Due to the amount of rebar and detail involved in the walls, we used Doka’s Frami gangform system.

Integrated into the structural slab, were a multitude of shored structural beams that will give the shored slab the final ability to support large trucks and equipment. We used the Doka super deck system to form and support all of the beams and slabs. To finish the job off, we poured a 16’ tall exposed retaining wall also utilizing Doka’s Frami gangform system.
