Our 2nd project with Methuen Construction features two water 50-foot clarifiers with an accompanying splitter box and screening room.  NAC tackled this project during the summer of 2018.  We started with forming and placing the sloped base slabs, piecing the sections together with controlled construction joints per specification.  Once the slabs were in place, it was time to tackle the 16’ curved wall sections using gang-set forms and one of our rough terrain cranes.  We pieced together 60-degree wall sections until we had two water-holding clarifiers.  Inside the clarifiers, shoring and custom plywood forming were used to place the launder trough.  Although this was NAC’s first time doing clarifiers, we did our research, paid close attention to the specifications, and knocked this one out of the park!
